About my pieces
All these pieces are handmade; they are unique pieces thrown, shaped, and brush-glazed. Raku pieces are made using a traditional technique in wood chips.
The clay is stoneware, fired at very high temperatures, up to 1280°! So you can safely put them in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher.
Pieces with iridescent luster, real gold, or platinum undergo a third firing at 800°.
